It all started when I noticed a painful lump near my anal area. I consulted Dr. Mitra, who initially prescribed medication to reduce the pain and asked me to return after a week. The pain reduced with the medication. During my follow-up visit, he suspected fistula symptoms and advised an MRI. The MRI results showed a simple fistula with a single internal tract.
Dr. Mitra explained the condition clearly and recommended a lay-open surgery, giving me enough time to think and decide. Once I chose to go ahead with the surgery, he helped me with everything, including insurance approval. I didn’t have to worry about any paperwork or procedures.
